Aug 19, 2020 · Here is a summary of the minimum requirements per code for toilet clearances: A toilet shall not be set closer than 15 inches from its center to any side wall, partition or vanity. A toilet shall not be set closer than 30 inches center to center from an adjacent fixture.
Under-slab or underground drainage and vent piping within a dwelling must be cast-iron soil pipe, approved plastic, or type "DWV" copper tube. Drainage and vent piping installed more than six inches above ground or concrete may be galvanized steel pipe. Drainage piping must slope or grade at least 1/4 inch per foot.
